Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every 3rd Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care for patients with diagnoses including CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions, and generalized debility
• Perform medication reconciliation, interpretation of laboratory results, and comprehensive patient health assessments including vital signs monitoring
• Execute wound care procedures including dressing changes and setup of aseptic and sterile procedure trays
• Collect and label specimens including capillary, throat, urine (UA clean catch), and perform phlebotomy
• Manage telephone triage and pharmacy calls including patient refill requests
• Float between campuses within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed); required for all RNs regardless of specialty
• No open background check cases permitted; current driver's license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in acute care rehabilitation settings
• Familiarity with post-stroke, post-aneurysm, and post-operative surgical patient populations
