Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care with a primary focus on cardiac patients, including those with Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out Myocardial Infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrhythmias
Manage patients with respiratory conditions including COPD and Pneumonia as a secondary focus
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for assigned patients
Care for patients with diagnoses including Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, NSTEMI, COPD, and Pneumonia
Float to other campus locations as needed
Complete and pass a compliance EKG exam prior to unit placement (2 attempts allowed)

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Cardiac telemetry experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
No open background check cases permitted
Current driver's license required to verify address
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit setting
Familiarity with multi-campus health system environments
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
