Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting at a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5
Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
Manage peripheral lines and PICC lines in accordance with clinical protocols
Titrate drips as ordered and within scope of practice
Float to other campuses within the health system as needed
Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours; completed during orientation)

Required Qualifications

Active RN license in hand at time of submission
ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
Cardiac telemetry experience required
Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5) required
EPIC EMR experience required
Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
No open background check cases permitted
Current driver's license required to verify address
Requested time off must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO will be accepted
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in a multi-campus health system environment
Comfort with floating across units or campuses as needed
Strong critical care or progressive care background
